ELDER COLLEGE

Eldercollege is a volunteer driven organization with a core group of dedicated volunteers who offer a super selection of courses, two terms a year and help organize social and fund raising events throughout the year.

Most recently we sponsored a theatre production at the new Capilano College Theatre. The event was enjoyed by everyone and we are thinking of sponsoring several other new shows. This was done to raise Eldercollege's profile in the community and to raise money for us . We volunteer at a CASINO, (and share in the profits) and help our local television station KCTS with its annual fund drive. Coming up for Christmas will be our annual "Shortbread and Sherry" Party, which promises to be an enjoyable time of socializing for all.

Some of the more popular courses are "Aspects of Justice", "Etymology.. It's Greek to Me", "Music of the 20th Century", "End of Ideology", "Treaty Negotiations in British Columbia.
