CLIR was established in 1973, the first educational experiment of its kind in the western United States, and has served as a model for other learning in retirement programs. CLIR has assumed full responsibility for both program and administration and has become a free standing unit of University of California Extension.
In January, CLIR will inaugurate a group teaching course with several members sharing specialized knowledge on facets of Italy, including the study of arts & culture, food, history, and much more. |
